Website Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to accessibility
Equans is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. Our aim is to combine compelling user experiences with high levels of accessibility and inclusivity, so everyone can use our digital services, whatever their abilities. This is consistent with our approach to responsible business, outlined in our impact manifesto and our commitments to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Our ongoing site development and content creation is guided by best-practice accessibility guidelines such as WCAG and ISO 30071-1. We also use digital tools to test compliance with international accessibility standards.
Our accessibility enhancements on this website have been supported by our employee-led accessibility network.
Adapt your experience to your needs
While this site has been created to be accessible within the default user settings, many people are likely to get the most accessible experience by customising their computer to suit their individual needs – for example: to get the site spoken to them, to change its colour-scheme, or increase the size of its text.
If that sounds like it would be useful to you, we recommend you visit: My Computer My Way to read or watch videos of how these customisations (achieved by using accessibility features already on your computer, smartphone or tablet, or through installing assistive technologies) might suit you.
Limitations of this sites accessibility
We recognise that the site has some current accessibility limitations, and we are working to address these and to gain WCAG 2.2 AA.
Some Limitations include*:
- Colour contrast: Working to improve our colour contrast across the site to ensure all users can read our content
- Keyboard navigation: Improving navigation experience for keyboard users in future site developments
- Form usability: Actively working to improve the usability of our forms to ensure a better experience for all users.
*Note this is a non-exhaustive list
