Equans retains its position as a top sustainable FM company
Equans has retained its Platinum status in the Sustainable FM Index (SFMI), the only sustainability benchmark for the UK FM sector. It is the sixth year that Equans’ UK business has been recognised by the index as a top sustainable FM company.
Run by Acclaro Advisory, the SFMI considers a wide range of criteria, across environmental, social and governance areas, in assessing the overall sustainability performance of FM service providers. Crucially, it also enables FM providers to embed sustainability in the management and operation of their contracts, thereby meeting the growing demand from FM clients to see sustainability integrated into the service delivery.
“ Equans have continued their commitment to sustainability by taking part in the annual SFMI assessments. We saw commitment to sustainability across their business teams as they readily discussed and provided evidence of their progress on ESG performance from last year. Well done. ”
“ The accolade once again demonstrates to our stakeholders our commitment to the responsible business agenda and acknowledges the work we have continued to do as a business to deliver on our Responsible Charter Commitments. ”
