Equans recertified as a Top Employer in the UK for 2026

Equans has been recertified as a Top Employer for 2026 by the prestigious Top Employers Institute – demonstrating our commitment to our teams and reaffirming our reputation as an employer of choice for our 13,000 people across the UK.
The certification was awarded following a rigorous assessment of six key HR domains and 20 topics, including People Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), and Wellbeing. Equans demonstrated notable progress, increasing its overall score by more than 3% for 2026. Significant advances were seen in the ‘Attract’ and ‘Engage’ domains, with year-on-year improvements of 10% and 8% respectively, reflecting focused initiatives to strengthen recruitment and employee engagement.
Equans also excelled in the ‘Unite’ domain, which assesses organisational alignment with purpose, values, and DE&I. Scoring in the 95th percentile, Equans performed well above sector benchmarks in these areas. Additionally, the organisation was recognised for its clear business strategy, approach to talent acquisition - and received a 100% score for its approach to ethics and integrity for the second year in a row.
