Equans Joins Working Families to Promote Flexible Working and Employee Wellbeing
Equans is pleased to announce its membership with Working Families, the UK’s national charity for working parents and carers. This partnership, established by Equans’ Working Parents Employee-led network, underscores the company’s commitment to championing flexible working and supporting the wellbeing of its employees.
As a member of Working Families, Equans joins a diverse network of organisations dedicated to creating inclusive workplaces that support employees who have caring responsibilities. Through their membership, Equans will have access to a wealth of information, support from experts, and toolkits designed to embed flexible working within the workplace. By embracing flexible working practices, Equans’ aim is to continue to promote a culture that supports individual needs, enhances employee satisfaction and drives productivity.
Quote from Helen Woolnough
Joining Working Families reflects our dedication to creating a supportive and inclusive work environment where our employees can thrive. It builds on our commitment to enable a culture which values difference and delivers fairness for all. We recognise the importance of flexible working arrangements in empowering our workforce to achieve their full potential while working alongside their caring responsibilities.
Laura Frames and Chloe Lewis, Equans’ Working Parents Network Co-Chairs, both added:
This partnership aligns with our commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. As members of the charity, we will gain access to expert insights on work-life balance issues and a wealth of resources which we can use to help create a more family-friendly workplace culture. These resources will also assist in addressing the challenges faced by working families, as shared directly by our members of the Working Parents Network.
Equans looks forward to working with Working Families to continue advancing workplace policies and practices that support the diverse needs of its employees.
