Equans to provide adaptable homes modification for Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council
Equans has secured a major new contract with Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council (MBC) to install mobility aids and adaptations in thousands of homes across the borough.
Equans has been a long-standing partner of the Council for 20 years, during which time more than 25,000 properties have been improved through the partnership.
Under this new contract, the company will be providing approximately 2,500 further properties, including privately-owned and rented accommodation, with aids and adaptations designed to support those with disabilities, health conditions or reduced mobility.
The scope of work will include adapted bathrooms and level access showers for residents with disabilities, as well new flooring, grab rails and associated repairs.

“This will help more than 2,500 households and will support many people to stay in their own homes.”
The work will be delivered to properties across the borough over the next four years.
