Equans North East Lincolnshire is now certified and insured to provide commercial drone services
Equans North East Lincolnshire have added Drone Surveying to their extensive list of commercially-available services.
With a number of CAA approved Level 4 Certified GVC (General Visual Line of Sight) drone pilots working within the Equans offices in North East Lincolnshire, the company is now able to use drone capabilities to quickly, safely and cost-effectively survey assets for damage, defects and heat loss without the need to bring in scaffolding.
It will make reactive and remedial building maintenance much more efficient, and is offering this efficiency to clients, including to North East Lincolnshire Council as part of its programme of building maintenance.
In adopting this technology, Equans have been able to make their team’s working environment safer too, with more hazardous aspects of surveying works, such as working at heights, no longer a necessity.
Drone technology will allow for more challenging environments that would typically be unsafe or difficult to reach with traditional methods to be safely surveyed before action is taken. This is particularly prudent in instances where a property has been damaged by an external force, such as flood or fire.
