This weekend, we proudly scooped three accolades from the Building the Future – Construction and Built Environment Sector Awards 2024.  These awards shine a spotlight on individuals and organisations who are supporting and empowering young people to transform the UK’s construction sector, which is faced with an industry-wide skills shortage and changing workforce demands. 

Equans won the coveted ‘Employer of the year’ award as well as ‘Excellence in Education and Training’ which is a testament to our commitment in this area and the remarkable young people we have working for our organisation across the UK.  

We are also thrilled that Ahmed Aboelata was announced ‘Young Engineer of the year’ for his remarkable hard work and dedication to his role.  While William Lawrence was also highly commended in the Rising Star of the year 2024 award.
