Equans will be part of this year’s East Midlands Festival of Retrofit which takes place from 26th October to 9th November.
People across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are being invited to discover how they can make homes warmer, greener and cheaper to run.
More than 20 events are taking place across the region to showcase how energy-efficient improvements can make a difference to homes and communities.
Equans, alongside partners Vaillant and Greenstorm Energy, will host an air source heat pump demonstration event as part of the festival:
- Wednesday 28th October
- Southwell Racecourse, Occupation Lane, Rolleston, Southwell, NG25 0TS.
- 10am – 4pm

Equans is currently working on behalf of Newark and Sherwood District Council to retrofit 300 homes – making them more energy efficient and reducing bills for residents. It is also to retrofitting over 1560 social rented properties on behalf of City of Lincoln Council, North Kesteven District Council, South Kesteven District Council, and Platform Housing Association.

The festival is being coordinated by the East Midlands Combined County with the support of fuel poverty charities, local authorities, housing providers, businesses, community organisations and education providers.
The programme will include expert talks, open homes, demonstrations and advice sessions, helping residents understand how retrofit can improve comfort, reduce energy use and make homes more affordable to heat.
Measures being showcased include insulation, solar panels and heat pumps, alongside advice on the different options available and how residents can take their next steps.
