Each of us has a collective responsibility for the safety of our colleagues, customers, service partners, contractors and all who come into contact with our business. Our Fundamentals are underpinned by our dedication to safety, which is one of our absolute must haves.

These rules combine the best health and safety practices from across Equans and Bouygues E&S. We have worked together to create this carefully considered set that replaces all current versions. They must be strictly respected and enforced by everyone, every day, across our business.

Our aim is to become the recognised leader in health and safety by setting the highest standards. We must go beyond local regulations or customer requirements, where necessary and ensure we do what is needed to reach zero fatal or serious accidents.

We ask that you all familiarise yourself with the rules and guidance, share with colleagues and download the poster to display on your site and office noticeboards and if you see any breaches of the 12 rules, STOP the activity. These new rules replace the 12 basics and the 10 Golden Life Saving Rules – all previous versions must be replaced with the new 12 Golden Rules. Please ensure that all old versions across your sites are taken down.
