Dear Viewpoint for Projects (VFP) user,

Over the past couple of years Viewpoint have entered a partnership with Microsoft to bring interoperability between the two products, designed to make day to day use of Viewpoint a more seamless experience.

The first release of that partnership means if you use Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you’ll be able to edit a VFP document (.docx, .pptx, or .xlsx) live in Microsoft Office for the web, which will save your changes automatically and maintain document versions. 

With live edits, you’ll be able to collaboratively work on documents with other users whilst retaining the control and governance of your workflows, permissions, and security within VFP.

This new functionality will be activated on our Equans Enterprise in the coming days.
