EV charging network GeniePoint partners with Bonnet to provide over 900 chargers for EV drivers

Equans, who own and operate the GeniePoint network - the third largest rapid electric vehicle charging network in the UK, has partnered with Bonnet, EV charge point aggregator, to enable EV drivers to access and pay for charging at public GeniePoint chargers using the Bonnet App.
With the ban on the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles in 2030, both Bonnet and Equans see this partnership as vital in simplifying the public charging experience for an increasing number of motorists who are making the switch to EVs.
The GeniePoint network includes over 900 chargers situated in convenient locations nationwide, allowing drivers to charge their vehicles with ease.
Depending on the make and model of vehicle, GeniePoint’s 50kW rapid charge points provide an 80% charge within 45 minutes.

The partnership marks the fifteenth CPO to be added to Bonnet’s growing roster of charge point operators, bringing the total number of charge point locations to over 32,000.
