Equans receives Gold EcoVadis award for second consecutive year
Equans has been awarded a Gold EcoVadis medal for the second year running and has also been recognised in the top 2% of assessed companies worldwide for the fourth consecutive year.
The award is a powerful, independent endorsement of the company’s sustainability management. EcoVadis assesses the sustainability management of more than 100,000 companies to provide procurement professionals with key information about their existing and potential supply chain partners. Assessment procedures are tailored to industry sectors and company size and examine a wide range of criteria under 4 broad categories of the Environment, Labour & Human Rights (including Health & Safety), Ethics and Sustainable Procurement, including current performance and continuous improvement.
Amelle Mestari, CSR Director at Equans UK & Ireland and Divisional Director of Procurement & CSR for Equans Sustainable FM, said: "This excellent EcoVadis score demonstrates Equans’ high quality and consistent sustainability approach to our customers, year upon year. Not only do we drive continual sustainability improvement within our own operations through the commitments made in our IMPACT manifesto - but we are also delivering on our vision to accelerate our customers’ transitions to a low carbon and resilient world.
"For organisations striving to improve their own sustainability credentials, it’s essential to verify the performance of their supply chain partners and this accreditation further evidences Equans’ position as a sustainability partner of choice."
