Acis appoints Equans for £22m maintenance and decarbonisation contract
Equans has been awarded a £22 million planned maintenance contract with social housing provider Acis Group.
The five-year programme, will focus on improving lives for residents, as well as decarbonisation of the housing stock. Equans will support Acis with its drive towards net zero carbon by making thousands of homes warmer and more energy efficient, with improvements including new renewable technologies, insulation and low-carbon central heating.

In addition Equans will upgrade properties through the delivery of new kitchens and bathrooms, roofing, fencing and footpaths, as well as the demolition of a number of unused garages.
Acis Group manages and maintains more than 7,000 quality and affordable homes in cities, towns and villages across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.

The contract was secured through a competitive tender process via the EN:Procure framework.
As part of its commitment to social value, Equans will aim to create 22 apprenticeships - one for every £1 million of the contract, across the five-year term of the partnership.
