NatWest: A case study
Equans were appointed by NatWest to deliver 600 high power GeniePoint electric vehicle charging points across its office locations in the UK. The five-year deal includes supply, commissioning and operation of a network of EV chargers across various NatWest offices. Equans delivered dynamic load balancing to optimise grid infrastructure costs and detailed project co-ordination working across multiple contractors.
As part of the partnership, Equans has delivered one of the largest EV charging car park installations in the UK, at a NatWest office in Edinburgh, featuring 264 sockets. The 7.4kW Alfen dual socket chargers at the Gogarburn Campus are powered by Equans’ GeniePoint platform and are available for use by NatWest colleagues, customers and visitors.
The partnership not only enables NatWest to support their colleagues to make the switch to EV, but also their transition to a fleet of 300 EV’s.
