Overview
Equans provides non‑clinical Hard FM services to the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals Trust.
The Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust tendered for a multi‑lot facilities management–based framework to identify a partner capable of delivering significant property change across its hospital portfolio. Equans gained positions on two of the resultant frameworks and will deliver £10m of facilities services and projects to the Trust.
Our Work
Equans provides total facilities management, including lifecycle services, across three hospitals for the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals Trust. Services include:
- Maintenance
- Planned and reactive services for retained and divested estates
- Projects and lifecycle planning
- Helpdesk facility
- Grounds and gardens
- Pest control
The contract supports both ongoing operational requirements and longer‑term lifecycle and project delivery across the Trust’s estate.
Impact
Through the framework appointment, Equans will deliver facilities services and projects valued at £10m, supporting the effective management and development of the Trust’s hospital portfolio.
