I’ve developed hands-on expertise in jointing, wiring components, and managing complex installations, ensuring precision and efficiency in real-world applications. Learning to safely set up traffic management systems has been crucial for maintaining safety in live environments, and earning my crane operator’s license was a major milestone, expanding my capabilities in handling heavy machinery. Overall, this apprenticeship has equipped me with the skills and experience needed to excel in my field.
What is the most exciting or rewarding part of your apprenticeship programme?

The most exciting part of my apprenticeship has definitely been the constant learning and growth. I've been exposed to so many different aspects of business transformation, from process improvement and data analysis to change management and measuring impact. I have gained - and continue to gain - valuable knowledge through my apprenticeship, developing a diverse skill set that will benefit me throughout my career. My apprenticeship has been instrumental in shaping my career, providing hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the industry. I began as an admin apprentice, unsure of my career direction, but with the support of my mentors and diverse opportunities, I explored different areas of the business. After completing my administration course, I progressed to Facilities Management and am now studying Quantity Surveying. My mentors have guided me through every step, helping me grow in both skills and confidence. Equans has equipped me with valuable technical and customer service experience, inspiring me to aim higher and pursue a career with continuous learning and growth.
